I love blogland. Thanks to Janet leading me to The Simple Woman which leads me to my new Sunday Posts.
Reflections in list form. Then a party on top of that? I’m in.
TODAY
Outside my window…is a storm. That’s California speak for rain. It makes me turn the fireplace light switch on and cozy up.
I am thinking…of a friend who lost her brother yesterday as he was serving in Afghanistan. Another friend who met her birth mother today. Another friend who’s daughter is having unidentified health issues.
I am thankful for…my Jesus…who loves me.
From the learning rooms…I will quietly prepare for the week ahead. I am moving back to workboxes. I question why I ever left. Sometimes I am not so bright. I am preparing for our chocolate unit study which will end in a chocolate walk. I am silently praying for strength and wisdom.
From the kitchen…we ate a yummy lunch of Cranberry Chicken, baked potatoes, and homemade crepes with butter and cinnamon sugar for dessert.
I am wearing…yoga pants, an orange and white hippy lookin’ tank, and the rattiest most comfortable white t shirt on top of that you have ever seen.
I am creating…more pages in the scrapbooks that I pour my heart into to give to my four littles. It’s my perfect hobby. Relatively inexpensive, creative, and meaningful.
I am going…to get up soon, I swear. I just finished a 3 hour nap and my little man is sleeping on my chest. He’s still in dreamland.
I am reading…inspiration. I love blogs.
I am hoping…for this week to settle. The last couple days it seems there is drama drama drama.
I am hearing…Sponge Bob thanks to my six year old.
Around the house…is evidence of a large family living and enjoying life.
One of my favorite things…is diet coke. I know its not healthy, but it’s true.
A few plans for the rest of the week: educate four young minds, re find my motivation to repair my 3 month postpartum body, do all the regular things that fill my day in and day out. My calendar is E M P T Y. yay for boundaries and sanity.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing…first time in a swing can be exhilarating.
